Tracy L. Boak is a partner with Perlman & Perlman, LLP a New York, NY law firm providing legal counsel and compliance services to organizations and professionals in the nonprofit sector. Previously she was the Director of the Pennsylvania Department of State’s Bureau of Charitable Organizations where she was responsible for the management of the office that oversees the administration and enforcement of the State’s charitable solicitation law. Prior to working for the Commonwealth, Ms. Boak was in private practice in Harrisburg, PA, where she practiced commercial litigation. Ms. Boak is a former President of the National Association of State Charities Officials (NASCO) and served on the NASCO board for six years. She is member of the New York State and City Bar Associations and volunteers her time with several nonprofit organizations. Ms. Boak earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Widener University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
