Dr. Jack B. Philips earned his doctorate in Public Administration and Public Policy at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently an instructor of Public Administration at Tarleton State University on the Texas A&M RELLIS campus in College Station, TX. His research interests include nonprofit/third sector research, Latino critical and critical race theory, social innovation, Latino community issues, and social equity. His current research examines how critical methodology can improve how nonprofits serve their target communities and develop improved service delivery mechanisms to create equity for people of color. Dr. Philips is also Associate Editor of Social Media and Marketing for the Journal of Public and Nonprofit Affairs.
