The Standards for Excellence Code

The foundation of the Standards for Excellence program is the published Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. It identifies 6 major areas of nonprofit governance and management which contain 27 different topic areas. The Standards have been adopted by and are available through the following nonprofit associations: Alabama Association of Nonprofits, The American Nurses Association, The Arc of the United States, Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Colorado Springs, Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement, National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management, Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations, Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits; Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence (Virginia), and Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
