Preeta Nayak is a partner in Bridgespan’s San Francisco office and Head of Bridgespan’s Leadership & Community Services. While at Bridgespan, she developed the firm’s program to provide consulting and capacity-building to senior teams within target geographies (Leading for Impact) and recently launched the firm’s online and team-based programs, the Leadership Accelerator. Her advisory work has included support for a variety of nonprofit clients on questions of strategic planning and organization design, and she is co-author of the book, “Nonprofit Leadership Development: What’s Your “Plan A” for Growing Future Leaders?.”
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Preeta was a classroom teacher and non-profit manager. At The Junior Statesmen Foundation, she was the senior manager responsible for marketing and summer programs. She also directed educational programs at Prep for Prep in New York City and for Duke University’s Talent Identification Program. Her career began in the classroom, where she taught history at the middle and high school levels. Preeta has a B.A. in political science from Yale University, an M.A. in education from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
