Nancy Barry is Manager of Special Initiatives for Public Policy at Independent Sector. Prior to working at Independent Sector, Nancy worked in operations and fundraising for nonprofits focused on global health in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Nancy received her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, with a focus on conflict resolution and African studies from George Washington University. She hails from Austin, TX and is always on the search for great BBQ and Tex-Mex in Washington, DC.
