Michael Bochnovic is the Executive Associate at Independent Sector. In this role, Michael supports the President and CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership members with operations and special projects. Previously, Michael held various roles with the Center for Community Progress, most recently as Senior Program Officer with the policy and research team. He also served as the Executive Fellow at Urban Strategies, Inc., Program and Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, and holds a rich background in policy and advocacy, nonprofit management, place-based technical assistance, and organizational development. Michael is a Chicago native and earned his master’s degree in urban and environmental planning from Arizona State University.
