LaTisha Henderson is director of membership at Independent Sector. She is responsible for the strategic recruitment, retention, and engagement of IS members. LaTisha brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit membership development, servicing more than a half-million members of various organizations around the world. Previously she served as director of philanthropy at the Physicians for Social Responsibility; associate director of membership at the American Society of Clinical Oncology; and associate director of membership at the Truck Renting and Leasing Association. LaTisha is a visionary leader who applies a lens of conscious inclusion to generate connections between members that will enhance knowledge, insight, and a stronger sector.
LaTisha holds both a bachelor of science in business and a master’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix. She is an avid traveler and volunteer, loves spending time with family, baking, and appreciates a driving range with good weather and an eclectic playlist.
