Angela Lee

Angela Lee currently works for Goodwill Industries International (GII) as the Manager of Advocacy Outreach and Engagement where she leads focused member engagement, communications, and capacity building as they relate to advocacy and GOTV initiatives. She is also the Communications Director for The Almond Group – a leadership development and consulting firm with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) – and serves on the leadership teams of both the Diversity in Government Relations Coalition and Women in Government Relations’ DEI Committee. Previously, Angela worked for a number of nonprofits where she developed and implemented strategic priorities and communications initiatives that advance organizations’ efforts to improve lives and expand opportunities for under-resourced communities. Although Angela is a native of the Washington DC area, she lived in Boston for 10 years before eventually making her way back. She now lives in Maryland where she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.
