Amanda Shields, serves as Vice President Human Resources for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. A servant leader who practices a leadership philosophy that enriches the lives of people, builds better organizations, and ultimately creates a better community. This is where she is driven to changing the future of our world one child at a time, indirectly by serving the needs of the organization and its people on the front line.
In her current role, she is responsible for leading overall human resources strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, and employee relations. As VP HR, she has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the organization to support its mission, business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its employees around the North Texas region.
Amanda holds a Master of Arts Degree from Dallas Baptist University with a concentration in Human Resources and is an active member of her local community. When she is not working, she enjoys time in the outdoors with family and friends in Texas.
