Abby Endashaw works for Mennonite Central Committee, an international peace and relief organization, as the Summer Service National Coordinator. Though born and raised in Aurora, Colorado she recently relocated to Dallas, Texas, the ancestral lands of the Wichita, Tawakoni, Kickapoo, and Jumanos Indigenous Peoples. Her work with MCC emphasizes community centered, leadership development programs, antiracism education in faith-based contexts, and administering grants to local partners doing peace and justice work. Before joining the MCC Central States staff, she earned a BA in Psychology and Master’s in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and worked as a community therapist for children and survivors of trauma.
She is driven by ravenous curiosity, long-suffering idealism, and the satisfaction which comes from seeing people and institutions learn to work in closer alignment with their values. When Abby’s not working to acquire her license as a therapist or visiting with MCC’s young adult constituents, she is likely catching up on Grey’s or knee deep in a new book!
