Our ability as individuals and organizations to hold true to creating a more just and equitable nation during and after COVID-19 will live or die by trust in civil society. While we intuitively know that trust building is vital to the success of any recovery effort or social movement, we don’t always have the data necessary to understand where we stand, or what we need to change to build and strengthen that trust. We began to have that conversation on Monday, July 6 at 2:00-3:00 pm with leaders from the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, as well as John Edelman of Edelman, which has championed the Trust Barometer and partnered with Independent Sector on a first-of-its-kind survey on trust in nonprofits and philanthropy. Join us to learn more about the survey, what it means for your own missions, and how it fits into a larger narrative of the health of our sector and our ability to create lasting systems change and ensure all people in the U.S. thrive.
