Dorothy A. Johnson Center – 11 Trends in Philanthropy for 2021
In recent years, we’ve seen an increase in dynamic forces that are disrupting the philanthropic ecosystem. CASE – Voluntary Support of Education Key Findings, 2019-20
The Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey findings by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) show voluntary support of U.S. higher education institutions totaled $49.50 billion in the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2020. While support edged slightly down from $49.60 billion in 2019, nearly half – 48.6% – of responding institutions reported that giving increased.

Data Axle – The New Best Practices for Connecting with Today’s Charitable Donors
Data Axle’s latest survey of more than 1,200 donors found that a majority (51%) of respondents have not changed the amount they donate in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, while 28% indicated they now donate more than they did pre-pandemic.
