The Upswell Summit is an unmissable annual event that will bring the biggest ideas, boldest thinkers, and best strategies for building a healthy and racially just nation into clear focus.
Value of Upswell Summit
The Summit is a culmination of the wisdom and learnings from Upswell year-round. You will strengthen current collaborations, build new partnerships, and unlock inspiration from across the country. Here are some concrete things you get out of this experience:
Tools and resources to build health and equity into your systems
Focus on your personal, community wellness and care
Inspiring talks from the leading known and unknown minds
Connections to move your mission and our collective mission forwar
Join us for our fifth year of bringing together a community of changemakers committed to building a healthy and racially just nation. The task ahead is dire considering the constant reminder from communities nationwide that we need to challenge and change oppressive systems, strengthen our sense of community, bridge across differences, and take care of ourselves and communities.
November 15 Upswell Summit, powered by Independent Sector, will advance our singular mission by offering thought leadership that wrestles with issues plaguing our nation, workshops and panels that will strengthen your institutional, personal, and professional development, as well as time to invest and care for the most important person in the work – you.
Independent Sector is committed to equitably compensating its presenters and speakers. In addition to visibility, we will highlight your partnership as a thought leader, and offer a complimentary conference registration so you can attend sessions and network with peers, we are committed to the following:
If you are speaking in a role as a staff or volunteer with a nonprofit or community-based organization, we will work with you on an honorarium for your speaking commitment.
In order to ensure our resources are being distributed equitably, we will not be offering an honorarium to speakers who are representing large foundations or corporate institutions.
