The task ahead is dire considering the constant reminder from communities nationwide that we need to challenge and change oppressive systems, strengthen our sense of community, bridge across differences, and take care of ourselves and communities.

Equitable Speaker Compensation Statement
Independent Sector is committed to equitably compensating its presenters and speakers. In addition to visibility, we will highlight your partnership as a thought leader, and offer a complimentary conference registration so you can attend sessions and network with peers, we are committed to the following:
- If you are speaking in a role as a staff or volunteer with a nonprofit or community-based organization, we will work with you on an honorarium for your speaking commitment.
- In order to ensure our resources are being distributed equitably, we will not be offering an honorarium to speakers who are representing large foundations or corporate institutions.
