Rashidah Billups is a senior communications professional with a diverse background in public relations, advocacy, DE&I, and storytelling. She currently serves as the Director of Strategic Marketing and Digital Engagement at IS. Rashidah leads cross-organizational strategies and efforts to develop and execute strategic marketing and digital engagement plans for IS programs, events, and products including messaging, branding strategy, and audience segmentation.
She came to IS after working on a variety of communications campaigns, advocacy issues, and educational developmental concepts for FleishmanHillard, Kivvit, Jesuit Refugee Service/USA, and Communities In Schools, National Office. Rashidah graduated summa cum laude from Delaware State University and received her Master’s in Journalism with a concentration on International Public Relations from West Virginia University.
