Nathan Darity is a community builder, experience designer, nonprofit leader and curator of a shared living residency. As a founding member and current Executive Director of The Global Switchboard, Nathan applies a network stewardship approach to equitable global engagement. Through coalition leadership, his work focuses on equitable access to global learning opportunities and immigrant and refugee inclusion in the greater Pittsburgh area. Prior to his current role, Nathan lived and worked in the Brazilian Amazon and throughout the global south, coordinating experiential learning programs with university students and establishing new international partnerships. Nathan leads the Pittsburgh chapter of CreativeMornings, helped design and commission NavusHouse, and co-created CORY+ROY. Through his work and many projects, Nathan affects change through the design of shared experiences that enable people to practice engaging in community with a deepened sense of belonging and concern for the wellbeing of others.
