Jamie Smith, Executive Director Jamie Smith is YNPN’s Executive Director. Prior to solely taking the helm of YNPN, Jamie was one of the 2016 Interim Co-Executive Directors and the former Communications & Network Engagement Director. In that position she managed communications, social media, and public relations for YNPN as well as resource development and programming for our chapter leaders and members.
Jamie first connected with YNPN as a member of YNPN Chicago and was selected as a Launchpad Fellow in 2013. Before coming on full-time with YNPN, she was a freelance writer and content strategist working with nonprofits, technology companies, and travel brands to amplify their impact with clear and compelling communications.
She graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Public Policy and has a Masters degree in Communications from Northwestern University. Additionally, Jamie is a 2016-2017 Independent Sector NGen Fellow. When she’s not working, she’s reading, traveling, and riding her bike.
