Erica Harris joined Independent Sector as an associate in 2019. In her current role, Erica works closely with the Independent Sector strategic partnerships team to advance and strengthen relationships with Independent Sector members and beyond. Prior to joining Independent Sector, Erica worked as a project associate at KG Consulting, where she closely engaged with a wide range of nonprofit leaders to provide strategic fundraising guidance and support. Prior to KG Consulting, Erica interned with various organizations such as National League of Cities and Everytown for Gun Safety. Erica received her bachelor’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park (go Terps!).
