The Girl Scouts of the USA faced a daunting dilemma when operational, programmatic, and financial challenges caused by the pandemic left them with an excess of 20 million boxes of cookies – and a national scouting network looking for critical leadership development and community-building opportunities – as well as for learning delicious business skills.

Not missing a beat, the GSUSA launched a new platform in just 10 days — Cookie Cares – allowing cookie delivering to continue. They also launched another online platform, Girl Scouts at Home – offering inventive virtual programming and experiences for girls and troops.
