Would you like to spend a day with one of the world’s biggest PR and branding agencies, helping to sharpen the story of the nonprofit sector?
In partnership with Ogilvy, Independent Sector is hosting an event to leverage the real lived experience of mid-to senior-level nonprofit professionals who must answer critical questions about the value of their contribution to society in their daily work. In this workshop, you will react and give feedback to draft messages which attempt to capture the nonprofit sector’s contributions to civil society and how the sector must be resourced appropriately in order to achieve long-term outcomes.
We ask participants to come with an open mind, a critical eye and a creative lens to addressing this complex topic. To show our appreciation for the value of your time, we will pay a small stipend for your attendance.
Your feedback will be used to inform a final set of messages and tools, specifically related to the relationship between cost and impact, as well as the sector’s contribution to civil society, which will be unveiled at Upswell in November.
Please join us at the Center at Cathedral Plaza in Los Angeles, Monday, February 26 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM . Space is limited to 15 nonprofit professionals.
About Independent Sector’s Sector Narrative Work
The work of building a sector narrative, and specifically addressing how we articulate the relationship of cost and impact, is in direct response to a key pain point we heard throughout our 15 cross-country Threads Community Conversations with 80 partner organizations.
