Nearly two years ago, Independent Sector started a process to undergo our own digital renewal. We did this because to be effective in our engagement and mobilization efforts, we need the right digital tools.
With user interviews and feedback from all of you, we embarked on a journey of transforming our internal infrastructure to better serve you — incredible leaders at nonprofits, foundations, and social good institutions of all kinds. In fact, you may have noticed this change already if you’ve visited our new website or engaged with others on our other digital platforms in the last few weeks. But I am incredibly proud to formally announce that we have officially launched our new IS digital experience.
With this new IS digital experience, we aim to make your interactions with us – from registering for Upswell and other events to finding a key policy resource to simply updating your password – easier than ever before.
Highlights of our new digital experience include:
- a one-stop website for all your Independent Sector and Upswell needs,
- a new community portal to make it easier to register for events and update your profile information,
- a modernized brand and website layout, including a new IS logo, and
- a modern and easy-to-use online donation platform.
Of course, these changes are just the beginning. Now that our new digital infrastructure is in place, we’ll continue to improve these systems and take your feedback to identify additional ways to innovate.
