Legislators are back to school and their first test will be avoiding a federal government shutdown when the fiscal year ends on September 30. With disagreements about border security, gun legislation, farm aid, and more, Congress will likely be wrangling over its annual budget legislation deep into the fall. Meanwhile, the House Ways and Means Committee is sending signals about action on the state and local tax (SALT) deduction and the charitable sector pushes for tax legislation to address many of its priorities this season.

Please join us Thursday, September 26 at 2:00 PM ET for our September Monthly Policy Update. We’ll provide the latest updates from Washington and break down what it all means for the charitable community and the people we serve.
