Public Charities and Foundations Benefit West Virginia Communities

Since its founding by the Ferguson Memorial Baptist Church, KISRA has been working to create stronger and better educated families who are more empowered and ready to change the course of their lives and contribute to the community. The KISRA Cares Program supports individuals dealing with mental illness by providing them with intensive case management.

Give voice to the people they serve
The American Heart Association advocates to support vital programs to ensure the cardiovascular health of West Virginia. Their focus in West Virginia includes CPR training, funding research, improving workplaces and protecting newborns.

Contribute to vibrant communities
The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra aims to be the spark that ignites a love of music and sense of pride in every person in the West Virginia region. One of the WVSO’s strongest initiatives, the Young People’s Concert Series reaches over 14,000 students annually.
