Program-Related Investments in Southeast Michigan

This study aims to help practitioners better understand the use of Program Related Investments (PRI) in the current impact investing climate, particularly in Southeast Michigan. Primary and secondary research is used to identify challenges and opportunities in the PRI space. This research analyzes the current program-related investment (PRI) landscape to identify 1) how PRIs can be a more substantial component in the social finance and impact investing space; 2) barriers to broader acceptance and use of PRIs; and 3) stakeholder priorities.
