Members of the Senate Finance Committee and House Ways and Means Committee

Both the Democratic and Republican leaders of the 110th Congress have completed almost all of their appointments for the chairs and members of the committees that carry out much of the Congress’s work. There have been substantial changes in the membership of the two tax committees that have oversight responsibilities for the charitable sector, the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee. We urge IS Members to let us know if you have contacts with any of the members of these committees and to congratulate the new committee members, particularly if your representatives or senators have joined either of these committees. The new members are marked with an asterisk.
