The revised IRS Form 990 sets a new standard for the way nonprofits will report on many elements of their operations, including their governance and compensation practice. Lois Lerner, director of the IRS Exempt Organization Division, and Ron Schultz, senior technical advisor to the commissioner of the IRS's Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division, joined IS members April 8 for a discussion of the changes the IRS is making to the Form 990 and how they could affect your organization.
