Past Conferences

The IS Conference is the premier opportunity for people from across the nonprofit and philanthropic community to come together and examine pressing issues facing our organizations and the communities we serve.

The conference uses innovative formats to draw on the expertise of staff and board members from nonprofits, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs. By encouraging input from people at all types of organizations, the annual conference builds networks and produces insights and creative approaches that make the nonprofit community even more effective.

The conference also features special programs, including:
  • The CEO Track, which provides chief executives of IS members in-depth, peer-to-peer exchanges on issues relevant to running an organization.
  • NGen: Moving Nonprofit Leaders from Next to Now helps expand and improve the nonprofit talent pool by developing the leadership skills and networks of emerging leaders under 40.
  • The Public Policy Action Institute helps nonprofit leaders, policy advocates, and communications professionals develop winning strategies to influence legislation and regulations affecting the ability of nonprofits and foundations to fulfill their missions.
