Episode 12: Tax Reform – The Devil’s in the Details

In this week’s episode, Jamie and Kristina are joined by Hadar Susskind of the Council on Foundations to discuss the news, including how healthcare reform is back on someone’s table, and take a deep dive on tax reform.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the charitable deduction, and policymakers’ plans for comprehensive tax reform may open the door to strengthen and expand incentives to give in the tax code – but there are also many more potential reform priorities that could impact our work and the people we serve. We discuss what the charitable and philanthropic community needs to know in the tax reform debate.
