Independent Sector Submits Testimony on IRS FY2008 Budget

(Washington, D.C., May 23, 2007) -- Independent Sector today submitted written testimony to Senator Richard Durbin, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee, urging the subcommittee to accept increased funding of the Internal Revenue Service’s FY2008 budget as recommended by the IRS Oversight Board.

Independent Sector also sent similar testimony to the House Appropriations Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee.
