Developing the next generation of nonprofit leaders is critical to the ability of charities and foundations to improve lives around the world. The NGen: Moving Nonprofit Leaders from Next to Now program, which is new at the 2008 Annual Conference, will help expand and improve the nonprofit talent pool by developing the leadership skills and networks of emerging leaders.

Open to nonprofit professionals under the age of 40, NGen will offer its participants special sessions addressing issues they face as emerging leaders and opportunities to network with leaders of all ages. You must first register for the conference before you can register for this program.

How to Register

To take part in the NGen program, you must first register for the full 2008 Annual Conference. There is no additional cost to participate in NGen, but you must sign up for it before you arrive in Philadelphia.

To attend the conference, go to the main conference registration page. Once your registration is complete, the confirmation screen will offer a link to the NGen signup. Alternatively, use your confirmation number to login to the registration system and and choose option #8.

If you have any questions, email them to ngen@independentsector.org.
